A letter from me to you..
If you’re here on this page, I am sure you are looking for ways to love yourself, heal yourself, be productive, work on your dreams with confidence and become the best version of yourself. I know because I was the same and I still am. Self-love – the word as Pretty as it may seem, in reality, is a pirate’s treasure to find. It is never really told but the searching for self-love has the power to throw us into an even more negative path than we already are. This is because searching for self-love, we force all the good stuff on ourselves at once and too much of anything both good and bad can be dangerous. When we are unable to achieve what we’ve aimed for, we are hit with the sharpest pangs of guilt. This shatters our confidence like no one’s business.
The problem lies in us aiming for perfection. This doesn’t work because nothing is perfect and if it is, then it’s not real.
What do I know about you?
I know you’ve made your research. You’ve gorged on all the self-help books that you possibly can. You’ve talked to people and understood no one notices the details as you feel. I know you have tried to ignore the fact that you might be living a lie. I know you are here because you are exhausted trying to think positively. I know you are brushing away all thoughts that make you realize that you’re trying to distract yourself from a life you do not want to live.
I understand you desperately want back everything you’ve lost: the love, the care, the energy you’ve spent in trying to connect all the dots. Be it be your business setup, your career, your relationships, your family, or just the simple things in your daily life that do not go the way you want them to.
I understand you’ve been through so many things. You have been hurt to the extent that has convinced yourself that you are not made for love and are very hard to love – even by your own self.
More importantly, I understand you crave for that sense of belonging to your own soul you’ve grown so distant from.
What am I here to tell you?
It is human instinct to think that it is you against the world. It is NOT. That Is what I’m here to tell.
“No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else” – P.T Barnum.
We often tend to think of others as competition. This happens only when we’re trying to be them or desperately wanting one of their characteristics. Though it is not wrong to aspire for the good things, there is a fine line between admiring and aspiring to trying to be that way superficially.
I’m here to tell you that this is not a flowery bed you’ll walk away to heal and become this lovely person you want to be. NO. This is healing. It is ugly, full of thorns and weeds you’ll need tools to remove. It will pinch, it’ll prick, and it’ll scar very bad and you will not even know when you’ll get relief.
It’s like drowning in the water- Struggling to take that few breaths of air that surely wouldn’t suffice yet you somehow manage to use it for your whole body because you don’t know when you’ll be saved. Healing is ugly like that and there’s no other way to put it.
It is so hard that even the thoughts of healing make us feel afraid of it. Yes. One CAN be afraid of healing.
Despite how scary this can be, it is necessary. It is overwhelming but necessary enough to risk the hurt. It will anyways be better than the life you live doubting if it is a lie or if you are nothing but a fake replica of someone you want to be.
I’m here to tell you that It is a very human thing to struggle with and in fact the more you struggle the better you’ll become. I’m here to give you affirmative research and thoughts on this but also make you realize that the only way to grow to step outside of your comfort zone.
I’m here to make you feel less lonely because you are not alone. You’re not the only one who is struggling with your own self. We are all in this together.
But how do we process and work on all of this?
Thankfully you’re in the right place!
I understand what you crave the most is meaning and fulfillment in all areas of life.
Here on this page, you will find all the good stuff. You can explore and figure out where you want to start and what do you want to work on. Let’s grow together. Not like we’ve done to date. Let’s glow up from the inside.
Remember, you’ll not find the exact answers to your questions here or somewhere else, and neither do you need to. You need not understand everything at once or explain your actions to anyone. All you will find here Is relativity. When you need comfort, support, a boost of morale or inspiration that’s not just theory, the failures of successful people and their journeys, and the efforts applicable to real life. I’m here to present to you a collection of all of this to you.
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there”- Theodore Roosevelt.
This is a page I aim to fill with hope. You’ll not see that directly because hope is camouflaged in everything. I promise if you really look, you’ll find it. You’ll find the hope in your own feelings. The feelings deep down in your gut that maybe, after all this time, you are going to be okay. Because you deserve it – you always have.
Whether it’s discovering yourself, doing what you love, creating a positive life, being productive, being the best at everything you aim for, or simply working for a beautiful, meaningful, and fulfilling life—you can totally do it.
All you need is to start!
